Dr. Gustavo Rivero, M.D., is an accomplished hematologist and oncologist currently serving as Director of the Leukemia Translational Biology Program at the Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute, affiliated with the University of South Florida. He obtained his M.D. from Francisco de Miranda University, Venezuela, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, followed by fellowships in Hematology and Oncology at the NHLBI-NIH and Leukemia at Johns Hopkins University.
