Dr. Hongxiao Lv is a PhD candidate at Hebei University of Chinese Medicine whose scholarship focuses on the syndrome differentiation and treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease within the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). With a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Materia Medica, a master’s in Acupuncture and Tuina, and current doctoral training in TCM Diagnostics, she has developed a robust interdisciplinary foundation spanning herbal therapeutics, manual therapies, and diagnostic theory. Her research portfolio includes two major projects and the publication of a monograph titled Practical Technologies of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has authored four peer-reviewed journal articles indexed in SCI and Scopus and is an active member of the Professional Committee on Integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. Her current work aims to integrate TCM syndrome models with cerebrovascular ischemic pathology to improve evidence-based TCM strategies for stroke and related disorders.
