Dr. Ajay Kumar Maurya is a dedicated electrical engineering academic and researcher with expertise spanning renewable energy, power converters, ocean wave energy converters (OWECs), off-grid systems, cybersecurity, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. He has contributed significantly to the advancement of hybrid and sustainable energy technologies, supported by a strong publication record comprising 17 documents, 39 citations, and an h-index of 4. Dr. Maurya holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, where his doctoral work focused on solar–ocean wave hybrid energy systems, supported by advanced simulation and prototype validation. His academic career includes impactful teaching and research roles at Presidency University Bangalore, Medi-Caps University Indore, Banasthali Vidyapith Rajasthan, and Noida International University. He has also contributed to funded research, including work as a Junior Research Fellow on renewable-energy-based automatic generation control and an ongoing consultancy for developing a linear generator for ocean-wave-driven power generation. His technical strengths include MATLAB, OPAL-RT, dSPACE, microgrid emulators, and hands-on experience with power electronic hardware and PCB design.
