Shan Zeng is an accomplished Associate Researcher at the Computing Center of the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, recognized for her strong expertise in cloud–network convergence, software-defined networking, and high-performance data transfer systems for high-energy physics applications. With a solid academic foundation built through advanced training in computer application technology and computer system architecture, she has progressed through roles as Research Assistant, Research Associate, and Group Leader, contributing significantly to national scientific computing infrastructure. Her research leadership is exemplified by her role as principal investigator of competitive national projects focused on developing intelligent, lossless, and elastic network architectures that enhance cross-data-center collaboration and data-intensive scientific analysis. She has produced impactful work spanning SDN-based management, network virtualization, RoCE evaluation, and large-scale data mobility, with her results presented at reputable international forums and adopted in experimental testbeds for high-energy physics.
